This week consists of many important events that lead up to Easter including Holy Thursday, which commemorates the Last Supper where the Christ prophesized his end and his resurrection and distributed bread and wine as his flesh and blood respectively, which is followed by Good Friday commemorating the day of Crucifixion of the Son of God, the day when the kind Lord gave up his life to atone for the sins of the mankind and finally it ends with Easter Sunday, which once again brought happiness and mercy into the world with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Son.
